Waterfront Park
Dobbs Ferry, NY

Public markets were once a hallmark of civic life, where producers and neighbors could meet as they went about their daily routines. We are embracing the sense of community that defines the Rivertowns, while providing a forum for our local culinary stars to share their latest creations. Join us at the Dobbs Ferry Waterfront Park for a day filled with vibrant food, exciting drinks, live music, kids' activities, and an easygoing but festive vibe.

FAQs

If you don't see the answer here, feel free to email us at info@rivertownpublicmarket.com

+ When will the Market take place and where?

Rivertown Public Market will take place at the Waterfront Park in Dobbs Ferry from 11 am - 5 pm on Saturday, September 14, 2019!

+ How much does it cost?

Rivertown Public Market is free to enter starting at noon, and all the entertainment and kids’ activities are free, as well. In order to consume alcohol, you must show ID and purchase a wristband at the entrance. All food and drink is pay as you go, but items are sized and priced to encourage trying lots of different foods.

+ What's this about a VIP Early Entrance?

New this year: VIP ticketed entry for the first hour (11 am - noon). Get first crack at the deliciousness with shorter lines, and experience an exclusive performance by Dobbs Ferry’s own emerging singer-songwriter Ursula Hansberry. $25pp includes $5 wristband (required to purchase liquor), kids 11 and under free, but everyone needs a ticket (available here).

+ What kind of food will be there?

We’ve got a great line-up of vendors selling all sorts of savory and sweet treats. There will be wine, beer, and hard cider, as well as a wide variety of non-alcoholic drinks. You can see the full list of vendors here.

+ What’s there for kids to do?

Like last year, there will be a wide variety of free kids' activities.

+ Is there music?

We’ll have five rocking local bands taking the stage between 11 and 5.

+ Can I park at the station?

A limited amount of free parking is available at the station on a first-come, first-served basis. We encourage you to walk or carpool if at all possible, and if you have friends joining from outside Dobbs, suggest they take the train to meet you.

+ Is the event cash only?

No, but it’s best to bring both cash and cards. Many of the vendors will not accept credit cards, a few will not take cash, and wristband purchases will be cash only, so come prepared!

+ Are dogs allowed?

While we love dogs, unfortunately they don’t always mix well with food and kids, so they are not allowed at the Market.

+ Does the event benefit anything?

Net proceeds will benefit the Rivertowns Chamber of Commerce, a non-profit organization dedicated to making the Rivertowns a fun and inviting place to eat, drink, shop, and have a good time.

+ How can I find out more?

Check out the rest of our website, follow us on instagram, or like us on facebook.

+ I’d like to participate in or help with the event — or I have a business that would be interested in sponsoring it. Who should I talk to?

Drop the organizers a line at info@rivertownpublicmarket.com. We’d love to connect with you!
